Almost 1.5 years after the release of the first Apple Watch and since Apple has managed to gain a significant part of the smart watch market , today introduced the Apple Watch Series 2..

The new Apple Watch Series 2 has a corresponding design with its predecessor and is no longer spit resistant but waterproof, and the user can wear while swimming and to a depth of 50 meters. According to the presentation of this new specification, complete waterproofing and the ability to withstand a depth of 50 meters had to redesign too many points for the new Apple Watch Series 2. The biggest change is not the speaker of that and water is the only entry point and is designed to eliminate once you exit the water operation.

Withings Steel HR: The first fitness smartwatch after the acquisition of the Nokia

The Withings, the company was acquired by the Nokia a few months ago, announced a new smartwatch, Steel HR, which mainly places the emphasis on fitness functions, in appearance but also the autonomy.



The Steel HR does not belong to the category of classic smartwatches but aims to satisfy those who need a fitness tracker within a nice design and a few notifications. Has analogue display sensor heart beats and battery which lasts up to 25(!) days. The display has an analog gauge at bottom to see whether you have achieved the objective of day but and one digital monochrome display at the top of which displays the fitness data but also the notifications from your smartphone.

By pressing the button that appears on the right side of the dial, you can navigate between the various information displayed on the screen. Some of these are the calories you burn, the distance you have traveled, the beats, during sleep etc.   Compared with other smartwatches such, 25 days autonomy which promises the Steel HR, is something more than satisfactory. On the battery, the Withings has returned in the past smartwatches with battery life up to 8 months, but it was never add sensor heart beats.

The new smartwatch of Withings available in two dimensions, 36 and 40mm. The version of 36mm has neck 18mm and will be available in white and black while the issue of 40mm has neck 20mm and only available in black color. 

According to the company, the Steel HR will be available for purchase from the official site in October with prices 179.95 and 199.95 USD.

Asus ZenWatch 3: announced with round screen 1.39" AMOLED [IFA 2016]

The IFA 2016 located and Asus, which officially announced its new smartwatch Asus ZenWatch 3 with round screen. The design is inspired by the classic watches, has added kroon and two large buttons right and left this.

Asus claims that the new ZenFit activity tracking provides accuracy 95%.

With regard to the technical characteristics, media has Snapdragon processor Wear 2100, specially designed for smartwatches, RAM 512MB, 4GB built-in memory, battery 340mAh and technology Asus Hypercharge to charge from 0% to 60% within 15 minutes (the charging occurs via magnetically attached charging connector).

The value of the Asus ZenWatch 3 in Europe will be at 229 euros, but do not yet have an exact date traffic.

Xiaomi AMAZFIT smartwatch: OFFICIAL THE FIRST WITH 28 nm GPS sensor

The Huami, who is sub-brand of Xiaomi, officially announced the new smartwatch AMAZFIT. The smartwatch is the first in the world to come with 28 nm GPS together with battery 200mAh for continuous use for up to 5 days with a single charge.


The smartwatch AMAZFIT features certification IP67, which means that it is resistant to water, sweat, dust etc. The display is 1.34 inch resolution 300×300 pixels within time processor 1.2 Ghz, RAM 512MB and 4GB built-in memory.
