Ever wonder what it becomes like to design your individual font? Well, now there's an app for the. It's called iFontMaker, and it literally puts the power to manufacture a custom font in both hands.
Available now on this iPad and Windows 8, iFontMaker was developed by app-development team Eiji in addition to Tom in collaboration having 2TFF, and its big claim is you can go from start to help custom font in all 5 minutes.
We put that theory towards test using the apple ipad tablet version, and the effects speak for themselves. Though my font won't gain any awards, it only took a bit over five minutes for making. If you'd like to discover what the app is very capable of, 2TTF's font gallery offers you a good indication.
You might be given a blank canvas together with some loose guides.
Tracing can make it easier to make uniformly sized letters, but also start being active . style.
Quantities and symbols are integrated too...
even international ones!
Once you're done you can easily export your font for practice
And view it on a contact sheet to see how it looks all together.
Before you go to build it, you're given the chance to name your font, but in addition share it through the particular developer's website
After the font is "built" it is possible to install it on the iOS device.
Access to the font comes through installing a certificate.
Then it's accessible through programs with access to iOS' font library.
