After a successful test beta, Apple announced that it would begin to show commercials App Store, Wednesday, 5 October. The advertisements will appear at the top of the page results when users iOS introduce a keyword in the search box.
The company claims that over 65% of all downloads applications from search results. The Apple hopes that the new program search advertising would help users to discover less known applications which will not usually find the 's.
To prevent the most popular applications with larger budgets from the misuse of the system, the Apple has implemented an algorithm that will only display advertisements relating to the search term of the user.
"If an advertising has nothing to do with what the user searches, this would not appear to point advertising, regardless of how (the breeder) is willing to pay", officially declares the company.
An email has been sent to developers in the United States by encouraging them to create an advertising campaign for their applications. The Apple has yet to offer $ 100 credit for their first advertising.
